A medieval, cast copper-alloy strap slide.
Description: The frame is trapezoidal in plan and a flattened rectangle in cross section with an expanded leading edge. There is a circular, external, integral rivet projecting from the centre of the base of the frame.
Measurements: Length including rivet 17.75mm: Width 15.15mm: Thickness of side walls 1.65mm and expanded edge 2.89mm: Weight 2.54g
