A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy vessel foot, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1700. The foot is sub-trapezoidal in cross section, with the front, broad, face cast into three parallel longitudinal ribs and a central longitudinal ridge on the reverse. The underside is slightly concave and shows signs of sooting.

This is an example of Butler, Green and Payne's type A, which they suggest was in use throughout the medieval period and into the 17th century.
