A copper alloy incomplete mount of probable Post Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1700. Only one terminal survives and it is a flat piece of metal in the shape of a fleur de lis. The base expands sideways into a lobed base. There is a rivet hole in the centre of the fleur, slightly countersunk on one face, and the edge of a second rivet hole is visible in the break at the lobed end of the fragment. The fragment has a fairly thin green patina and red colour to the metal. It is 26.2mm long, 20mm wide and 1.7mm thick. 2.3g. Compare CORN-9E0B4A.
