A ceramic Vessel sherd of Medieval date (AD 1200 -1500). The object is a base fragment of a shallow vessel. The object is composed of a hard fine fabric with a sandy texture and no visible inclusions. The outer fabric is light orange in colour, the inner is a light grey, caused by differential oxidisation during firing. There is some retained remanence of a foot at the base of the vessel.
