A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Hadrian (AD 117 - 138), dating from AD 137 (Reece period 6), reverse type SALVS AVG, depicting Salus, standing right, hand extended, feeding a snake coiled round an altar, patera held in the left hand. Mint of Rome. It is 18.2mm in diameter and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 2.91gm.
