A copper alloy zoomorphic brooch dating to the early early-medieval period (probably 7th century AD).

The brooch is annular with a narrow D-shaped section which flattens at opposing points on the frame to form two pairs of zoomorphic decoration. One pair is in the form of two beast heads with open mouths and slight traces of incised eyes. There is a narrow bar between the mouths, which acts as a constriction for the tapered pin. The opposite portion of the frame is in the form of two curved and scrolled motifs, which may also represent animal heads. Triple banded circumferential collars are present at each junction between the zoomorphic heads and frame, as well as on the upper section of the pin. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

The metal is worn and mid green in colour. The brooch is 33.5 mm long, 34.8 mm wide, and 2.2 mm thick. It weighs 4.4 g.

A very similar annular brooch is recorded on the PAS database and was similarly found in the East Riding of Yorkshire: YORYM-507065.
