A medieval copper-alloy English jetton, probably an unofficial issue. King's sterling bust type, with a crowned forward facing bust (crudely depicted) on he obverse, with a border of val pellets, and a long cross pattee with three pellets in each angle on the reverse, again, a border of oval pellets. The jetton is 19.4mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 1.19g.
Compare BUC-B3689E which cites Mernick reference 6a.17.14, dating from about AD 1280-1340, and Mitchiner (1988, 106) no. 165. See also BUC-EB8996 and YORYM-F61CC7.
