A silver post-medieval coin; a groat of Edward VI (AD 1547 - 1553), posthumous issue in the name of Henry VIII (AD 1547 - 1551), Southwark mint, mintmark E (AD 1547 - 1549) on reverse only, and half roses in the cross ends. See North (1991) Volume 2, number 1872 on page 119. It is 24.4mm in diameter and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 2.48gm.
