An incomplete cast lead alloy dress hook of early post-Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1600. Read (2008) Early Post Medieval Class D Type 1. The main plate is broadly rectangular in plan with peripheral knops. In the centre of the face is a raised decorative panel with an unclear design within. The top of the dress hook is missing. On the reverse is a rectangular attachment loop and an integral tube within which is the remains of a separate hook of iron, most of which is now missing.
