A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle, probobably dating to c. AD 1400-1650. The buckle is symetrical, with two oval loops and a sub-triangular cross section, the front of the frame being externally bevelled. Traces of corrosion from an iron pin remain on the bar.
It is 28.54mm in length, 25.19mm in width. It weighs 5.68g.
