A fragment of a copper-alloy Bronze Age socketed axe, c.1000-800BC

Description: The fragment represents part of the socket and loop of the axe but that is all. The breaks are jagged and partially worn suggesting they were broken in antiquity. Due to its' incompleteness it is not possible to narrow the ID for this object.
