An incomplete copper-alloy strap-slide of Medieval date (AD 1250-1400). The object is a rectangular single loop with a perforation which holds a circular-sectioned rivet, now projecting from the lower bar. The metal is dark green in colour with a predominantly smooth patina.

Strap-slides held down the free end of a strap (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 230-232).
