Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1400. Oval frame with narrowed and recessed strap bar. The front edge is expanded, with a central constriction, probably for a missing sheet metal roller, flanked at either end by a rounded knop. The pin is missing.
