An incomplete copper-alloy Roman hair pin, dating to AD 43-410. The head is conical and the shaft has an oval cross-section. The shaft breaks at 15.07 mm from the base of the head. It is dotted and it has a recession on the side of the shaft, where it meets the head, formed by a different use.
It belongs to Group 1 in Cool (1990, p 152, fig. 1, no. 6).
