A Medieval silver Penny of Edward I (AD 1272 - AD 1307), Long Cross Class 3g, dating to the period AD 1280 - AD 1281. Initial Mark: Cross Potent. Mint of London (Tower). North (1991) Vol II, page 29, No 1022.

The coin has possibly moved in the die, therefore the fleurs on the crown appear double struck. Also appears to be some damage to the outer edge of the coin.
