An incomplete Post-medieval double looped copper alloy buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The surviving section comprises of one loop and the central bar, the former is oval, with an elaborated outter edge; three obliquely angled V-shaped grooves creating the impression of three lobes which lean slightly downwards. The loop is internally bevelled. The bar is slightly narrowed, sub-triangular in corss section and flanked by knops. The second loop is lost to worn breaks. There are traces of a lacquer coating.
