Medieval sheet copper alloy shield-shaped strap end with concave sides, perforation at the damaged pointed end with rivet, further rivet secures a C-sectioned bar-mount with convex face, both rivets with circular copper alloy rove on reverse and retaining scrap of cloth. Egan and Pritchard (1991), fig.103, no.732. Length 15.5mm. Width 11.5mm. Bar-mount 4 x 11.5mm. c.1270 - c.1450.
