One half of a medieval copper alloy mirror case, the hinge formed of twin lugs with a copper alloy rivet retaining the broken single lug from the missing half, an unpierced single lug sits projects from the opposite side of the case. The face has engraved cruciform decoration of the most frequently occurring design (Lewis 2014, Type A1; Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 1714-1716). The glass and fixative are missing from the inner face. Length 43mm. Width / diameter 30mm. c.1270 - c.1350.
