A complete cast copper-alloy strap loop dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. It is trapezoidal in plan, with a pointed outer edge to the thickened frame and a small circular aperture visible at its back edge- in which still survives part of a circular-sectioned internally facing rivet. Preserved in good condition with an even green patina, it measures 19.05mm long, 20.74mm wide and 4.39mm thick at the midpoint of its frame. It weighs 2.37g.
