A complete but distorted medieval cast copper alloy sewing thimble dating to AD 1400 - 1450.
It is domed, with quite pronounced shoulders, and has drilled or punched pits in irregular longitudinal rows. It is 22.50mm in height, c 23.50mm in diameter at the base and weighs 9.79g.
