Post Medival base silver penny of Philip and Mary dating to AD 1554 to 1558. Initial mark unclear. North (1991:129) no. 1976. One edge is damaged, possibly from originally poor stroking. The coin is also pierced with a circular hole near the edge at 11 o'clock ont he obverse, 2 o'clock on the reverse.
