Bow fragment of copper alloy early Saxon small-long or cruciform brooch. Broken at both ends the slightly wider end would have attached to the brooch headplate. Shallow C-shaped cross-section. Curved front face and hollow back, with shallow relief moulded collar at wider end and medial line running down the length. Circa AD 470-530. Extant length 25.4mm, width 20.8mm. weight 6.85g.
