A cast copper-alloy late Medieval to Early Post Medieval fitting. It consists of a rectangular plate folded back on itself, creating a loop from which a circular ring hangs. The plate is recessed and the back sheet is slightly narrower than the one on the front. A copper-alloy rivet held together the two sheets, now slightly loose. Each side of the loop has a narrow raised line. The front sheet has traces of tin coating. The ring has an oval cross-section and has its outer surface decorated with three equidistant pairs of incised transverse lines. The plate is slightly broken on its attachement edge and the ring is worn due to the use.
