A fragment of a Medieval copper-alloy French/Low Countries jetton of the Duchy of Burgundy dating from AD 1300-1384. The obverse depicts a quartered square topped shield quarterly of France-Burgundy, reverse a probable triple stranded cross fleuretty within a four-arched tressure with a rosette in each angle. cf. Mitchiner (1988: 253) no. 794.
