An incomplete cast copper alloy 'hooked tag' type clothing fastener dating to the 16th / 17th century. The securing loop is now broken off from the main body that is circular in plan with an openwork design of six apertures around a central one. The 12mm shaft has a moulded collar adjacent to the central portion and is now missing it's tip. The reverse is plain and flat.
