A complete flint Side Scraper of Neolithic date (3450-1200 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal is smooth and convex and has three predominant negative scars. The left and right hand edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted and there is some retain cortex situated at the distal right hand edge. The ventral surface is slightly concave and retains a small bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end.
The flint is a light grey and brown in colour. The lithic retains a minor amount of light brown cortex and is therefore a secondary flake.
