A copper alloy annular brooch. A circular open frame with a constriction to accomodate the fine wire pin. The frame is D-shaped in cross section, flat on the reverse. There are clear file marks on the reverse. The front is decorated with a series of eleven irregularly spaced transverse notches with raised areas between giving it a segmented appearance. The pin is thin and tapering. It is hooked around the constriction in the frame.
