A cast copper-alloy 'spectacle' buckle of probable post-medieval date, roughly AD 1550-1650 (Whitehead 2003). The object is roughly a pinched ovoid, with decoration on the front and a smooth undecorated lower side.
The design is laterally symmetrical, with what could be stylised foliate moulding at top and bottom and bilobed decoration at the outer ends. In design it is similar to WILT-F6F59B and WAW-08F2ED.
