A silver Post medieval coin; a shilling of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603), third issue (AD 1583 - 1603), initial mark woolpack dating from AD 1594 - 1596. See North (1991) number 2014 on page 136. The coin is 31.5mm diameter, 0.9mm thick and 5.95g.
