Cast copper alloy early Saxon cruciform brooch fragment. Headplate and most of the D-section bow is extant. Half-round integral top knob with transverse groove and decorated collar. Single longitudinally aligned perpendicular tab on back of headplate with remains of corroded spring. Light green patina abraded at the extremities. Circa AD.450-480.
