A silver Medieval coin; a round farthing of Edward I or II, class 10 or 11, Withers' type 30, probably 30i, dating from AD 1301 - 1314. See page 33 of Farthings and Halfpennies; Edward I and II, and North number 1070/1 in Volume 1 (1994). The coin is bent at 90 degrees. It measures 12mm diameter, 0.6mm thick and 0.36g.
