Copper alloy thimble. Cast conical thimble with unusual possibly moulded texture on its sides, including a possibly plaited motif with recurrent wave forms either interrupting it or emphasising elements of the scheme. There are three incised lines close to the base, , framing a plain zone above them, with a pair of incised lines as its upper border. A somewhat flattened top bears straight rows of circular pits within a circular border of similar pits. The basal edge is chipped. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1650-1750
