A fragment of a cast medieval-post medieval, copper alloy cauldron or ewer, AD.1300-1650. Object comprises a part of the rim from a copper alloy vessel. It has a slight outward turn rim. It has a greyish green patina. Copper alloy vessels were common through much of the medieval period into the 17th century when cast iron began to replace it. It is 35.8mm long, 56.1mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 35.7 grams.
