A lead sheet with the impression of a Roman coin. The coin impresion is of a Siliqua from the reign of Gratian (367-383) - Reece Period 19. The lead sheet is sub-rectaungular in plan and weighs 70.50g; is 56.23mm long; and has a maximum width of 34.07mm and a minimum width of 26.22mm. It is 4.91mm thick. The impression is situated at the widest part of the sheet and some dammage has occured to the upper right quadrant of the object, which includes part of the impression.

The sheet has a transverse cut just below the coin impression. It is conceivable that this was made for casting repica coins; however, XRF analysis carried out by the British Museum shows that the only metal present is lead.
