A copper-alloy strap end dating to the period c. AD 1350 - 1450. The strap end comprises an upper and lower plate. Remnants of leather is sandwiched between the plates. Both plates are trapezoidal in plan with straight side edges and a scalloped upper edge. There is a single circular perforation below the scalloped upper edge containing a small, circular-section rivet.
There is some evidence of decoration but the strap end is too corroded to ascertain what this was. It is 32.60mm long and 20.00mm at the widest point.
