Grey flint with cortex debitage. Three small flakes. One has ancient creamy patina so thick as to constitute cortex, which has developed over previously struck surfaces, to be itself removed by subsequent hard hammer impact. This and another, similar, flake have a bulbar ventral surface over which misty patina indicates exposure to a calcareous environment. A third flake bears scars from the removal of broad flakes from its dorsal side and a flat ventral surface. In this case, only one end of the object bears misty patina suggesting exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.

Combined Weight: 16.00gms
