Copper alloy Roman Large south-western T-shaped brooch of Hull T139 type, hinged type. Low rectangular head plate surmounted buy a truncated head loop, at the rear of the head plate is a double pierced lug in order to mount the pin which is now missing, this area is encrusted in iron corrosion which is the remains of the pin and pin support bar. The bow is decorated with five groves which run down its length to the final quarter where there are three horizontal recessed bands above an undecorated panel. Semi-circular foot at the base. The catch plate on the reverse is closed.
