A complete, shield shaped, copper alloy harness pendant dating from the Medieval period, AD 1200 - 1400. The heraldic design is of a lion rampant on a field of enamel, but the original colours are lost. There is a flat, integral suspension arm, pierced with a circular hole at the upper end, set at right angles to the plane of the body. The pendant is 28.5mm long, 16mm wide and 5.3mm thick. It weighs 3.36gm.
