A complete, copper alloy, Post medieval, Rose farthing of Charles I, AD.1625-1649, North 1991, 2289 (page 165, type 5, Rose type 1) AD.1636-1644. The coin ia very worn. The obverse shows a double arched crown with two sceptres crossed behind it. Sceptres reach nearly the edge of the coin. The legend reads: [CA]ROLUS D G [MAG BRIT]. The reverse shows a double Tudor rose with a double arched crown surmounting it. The legend reads:[ FRAN ET] HIB REX.
