A copper-alloy Roman barbarous radiate copying a coin of Tetricus II (AD 272-274) with a reverse type of Tetricus I, dating to the period AD 275-285 (Reece period 14). [LAETITIA AVGN/AVGG] reverse type depicting Laetitia standing left holding purse and anchor. Cf. Normanby no. 1988. The coin appears to have been deliberately pierced, the triangular shape of the perforation suggesting by a knife blade or similar.
