An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval to Post Medieval candle holder. It has a hollow structural section and a cylindrical shape, tapering towards the deep end; below the outer face of the bottom, it continues with an integral waisted element, which ends in a hemispherical knop. It has breaks, now worn, at the top and at one side.
The attachment to a base might have been in the missing side, see drawing in Egan (1991, p. 136, no. 369). The date is AD 1300-1600. For comparison see PAS database LON-C01992
