Cast copper alloy Medieval Bar mount with separate rivets circa 1350-1400 AD. Flat with terminal lobes and convex central lobe. Rivet tops still in place. Central lobe is decorated with horizontal grooves. 19.12mm long 9.68mm diameter central lobe, 3.6mm thick, weighs 1.39g. A similar item is shown No. 154 page 23 in Volume One of Metal Artefacts of Antiquity. Read 2001
