The loop of the buckl is attached to the remains of the spacer plates, the long ends have broken off. the pin comprises a flat pointed strip of copper alloy which has been wrapped around the bar between the spacer plates. The spacer plates are slightly thinner than the loop of the buckle to allow the front and back plates to be attached. The buckle is undecorated but there is evidence of silvering or tinning. The buckle weighs 2.42g and measures 22.22mm in length, 19.08mm in width and 4.62mm in thickness.
