Lead and iron possible tuning peg or instrument key. A globular flat-sided handle of lead with the stub of a ferrous metal pin projecting from a short [6mm] collar. The sides may be flattened further by having been gripped by a tool to adjust strings. Suggested date: post-Medieval, 1650-1800.
