Eleven sherds of Roman Savernake grog tempered coarseware dating to AD 43-300. One of the sherds is part of the base of a vessel, the other ten are all part of the walls of vessels. The fabric of all the sherds is unoxidised grey. The base sherd has a black coating and one of the other sherds has slightly oxidised surfaces. The sherds have micaceous inclusions as well as grog, flint and one fragment had organic material as the surface is pitted. The fragments weigh 140.56g.
