Copper-alloy strap end of Early Medieval date, c. 700 - 100 AD. The item is an elongated oval shape and cast in one piece with a split end. There appears to be the remains of two rivet holes at the terminal of the strap end, whilst the opposite end tapers to a point.
The remains of moulded relief decorations on both front and back, though the details are not clear and very worn.
