Lithic point dating from the Palaeolithic to the Bronze Age. Its possible age covers a potentially vast span of time, from c. 100,000 years ago to c. 800 BC.
The point is made on a triangular shaped flake, with evidence of invasive knapping on both faces and along the edges.
There is a prominent bulb of percussion on the ventral face, which is suggestive of hard hammer knapping technique. The dorsal face features invasive large flake removals across the surface of the flake, with small 'retouch' along the right edge, and blunted retouch along the left edge.
The flint is dark brown in colour and slightly translucent.
