A Continental imiatation of a silver sterling of Henry III (Class 5) minted by Nicole of London. It was produced in the Low Countries most likely in Brabant during the AD 1250s-60s. The obverse legend reads hENR[IC]VS REX [III?] with the letter N reverse barred and ligate with the letter R, letter C is not visible but may be reversed. The eyes appear to be oval. There are some obverse dies with a reversed C. The reverse reads as HIC/OIE/DNB/ANT. There is a bar to the right of the upright of the I joining onto the letter E and the D could be a reversed C as there is a die with a reversed C. It may be the same dies as 5.106 listed in Churchill and Thomas (2012) page 229.
