A complete cast copper alloy one-piece Nauheim derivative brooch dating to the Late Iron Age / early Roman period c. AD 43-80. The brooch has two sets of vertical punched squares down either edge of the bow, in the style of so-called 'Lowbury' brooches of the late first century BC / AD. This is a very nice example of its type.
This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
