Object type certainty: Certain

Flint debitage. A thin flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a bulb on its ventral surface. Dense creamy patina over all struck surfaces suggests the object has endured prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment after its deposition. Orange spots may indicate its subsequent incorporation in gravels. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.

Length: 27.5mm, Width: 22.6mm, Thickness (at bulb): 6.2mm, Weight: 3.95gms
